My name is Ashley Wade and I am here to help you have an amazing birthing experience. Ever since the births of my two boys I knew I wanted to work with laboring mothers and families who are bringing new life into this world. Whether you choose an unmedicated birth, have planned interventions or want a C-section I am here to join you along the amazing journey to becoming a first time mother or for each addition to your family.
What drives me most in my doula work is that Knowledge is power! So many women ( including myself) have no idea that they have options when it comes to birthing their babies and that every woman and every birth is different! I want to help women and families gain knowledge about birth and help them advocate for themselves so that they have the best experience possible and have the best memories of their ‘birth’ day!
I have joined with Jillian Crusius to start We Do Birth. I met Jillian at our DONA training and when discussing Back Up Doulas I knew I wanted to work with Jillian. We share the same principles and by working together we are able to give our birthing families peace of mind that we will always be available.
